Japan, Here I Come!

Tomorrow, I'm leaving to Japan for a two-week trip with my father! I'll be visiting my sister who I haven't seen in over 6 months. I will also meet some of my family members from my dad's side that I've been waiting to see for 18 years, along with some of his friends! On top of all that, the University of Tokai has accepted to let me train a few times with them, therefore, I will train with the girls, including my sister, and the boys!
This is my first time going to Japan and everything will be new to me! My dad has somewhat prepared me but I'm sure it will be quite the shock!
I will take lots of pictures and I'll write of my experience when I get back. I am bringing a notebook and I will be taking notes everyday, hopefully, therefore you will receive a detailed story of my stay!

Wish me luck! Have fun without me!

Geocaching

So today I had my first experience of geocaching.

Geocaching : The recreational activity of hunting for and finding a hidden object by means of GPS coordinates posted on a website.

I was first introduced to geocaching by my chemistry teacher, M Verrier, who is fascinated by it and is very active in the geocaching community! He's talked about it and showed us many clips and even got me to make an account on www.geocaching.com. Except I have one problem : I don't have a GPS. So it is very difficult to geocache without a GPS, trust me.
Luckely for me, today we went with our chemistry class! It was a very hot day out and it was fun! We did one cache with the group and then we split into smaller ones. I was with Jacques deMoissac and Denis Bosc. It was fun and we managed to find four, including the group one. We could have found five, but one was missing and due to that, we got back to class late...
After all this, geocaching is fun, but I don't think I'll be as serious about it as my teacher. I mostly like the outdoors factor and being with friends. I might get the app on my iPhone, when I get it, and from time to time find a few.

A fresh new start!

Some of you might be familiar with the old style of my blog. But if you are new to this blog, this is how it resembled before today!
I know right, pretty AWESOME looking and why would I every want to change it. Well, it was a little to dark and I needed some change.
The author to "The 7 habits of Higly Effective Teens" would surely agree : the 7th habit is all about renewing yourself. I have yet to complete the book since I'm only a few pages in but that book has really caught my attention!
Anyways, let's hope this new blog appearance somehow helps me write more often!

Resolutions

Here are my long awaited goals of the year 2012. I never would of had the time to make an essay about it. I might try to write one towards the end of the year, as a resume of how I succeeded. Forgive me for not writing one.

Resolutions for the year 2012
- Read a lot
- Get rid of bad habits
- Burping
- Being impolite with my parents
- Chewing nails
- Swearing
- Train hard
- Study hard
- Study Japanese
- Spend less
- Deepen my languages (French, English)
- No more videos games (Except at parties)
- Be nicer to my family
- Be nicer in general
- Have better attitude

Keeping up

It's hard keeping up with all these blogs while having:
- School (Including studies)
- Reading (SO MANY BOOKS)
- Judo (Including all other training)
- Friends... Ish

I did stop playing video games and I'm trying to sell my PS3 from stopping the temptation to keep from crawling back. This was one of my resolutions of the year...

All this to say that I will try my hardest to keep this blog going. I'm going to Japan this sunday for two weeks therefore you will be seeing a few blog posts of my experience there. I will be visiting family, friends, places. I'll be training a few times at the Tokai University for a few judo practices... Yeah I know. Lucky me ;-)!

Knowing all this, please bear with me, I'm a busy guy.
