FTJ! FATIJE! MERDE!

Wow! Amazing! Let's start from the begging.
Well, to tell the truth, I wasn't so pumped about FTJ this year. The practices weren't well organized and they kept on cutting lines off of me. I was really getting mad and yeah. The teachers cut our experience of it by not letting us go on Friday or Wednesday so I felt out of it. But I was a little pumped cause I would get to see Maxine Curée. Ok ok no I'm not completely over her. I will in time. But for now, no harm done!
So Thursday, we get there and I first talk to kids from Léo-Rémillard that say their play went well! We didn't see it because it had taken place on Wednesday. I also find out that the first play of the day that we missed was triple shit compared to the 2nd one that I did see which was already very bad... Then we go watch a few more groups which are both comedies, both very good! Then I went 1 hour early to eat lunch and didn't even get to eat it except for like 2 hours after... We had a dance competition/show with the host in front of everyone and I even beat boxed while the host danced to it! SUCH AN AMAZING FEELING! I wanted to see Rhéal-Bérard but our play was next and Alyena Fredette insisted on me staying with the troupe. Oh well. Guess I'll never know what Maxine had as role for her play. Apparently their play was about bulimia.
So we go back stage! I talk to Maxine and help get our stuff out! Everything, during our mini practices, was going crazy! Techniques was sucking. Talking and shouting here and there. Everyone panicking.. We aren't even done going through the end of it and we are told that the doors must open.. SHIT!
Everyone is nervous and you can feel it in the air. I hear the host call us in. I see people through the cracks of the blinds. And off we go... Good start! I'm almost shitting my pants I'm nervous! The host is smells so bad! So I go on stage and I do pretty well. My monologue is captivating and I'm not afraid of the crowd. I was enjoying it! Then we I reappear in my next scene, I'm a little more nervous because I really don't know what to do but when I go to comfort Alyena, in the play, they crowd gets it and they start going ooooo..ooo lol I felt bad cause that's so not me. The funeral goes well. At the begging of the play, there was a humorous mood. Not anymore. No one in the crowd is talking. Unbelievable. Then I change in time and Mathieu, Christianne and I make in on stage! Goes well. Change back and once it's time for the salut, Merve and I go out and our emotions are down, just as we were told to. When we step up, and start to grab hands, I notice that everyone in the crowd is standing up! WE GOT A STANDING OVATION! This never happens at FTJ! Wow! Unbelievable sensation! After the salut, we get backstage and in a huddle, half of us cry, the rest cheer!
To the judges we go! THEY DIDN'T SAY A SINGLE THING WE DID WRONG! Except for our transitions with the black. We have it. I knew then, we had it.

- GALA -
Friday, Ced and I missed the last class of the day to go see the movie Thor! It was pretty good! I liked it and so did Ced. Started out weird and too cheesy but it was good also for it's moral! Then we were supposed to eat but then my dad called saying that my mom's car had broke down. So we didn't eat, I hadn't eaten lunch on that day either, and headed to pick up our stuff! Got our stuff and straight to the CCFM! Crazy. And we get there, everything goes chaos! My clothes aren't in the bag, my dad is yelling at me, because I have to change, I miss the dance that host did. I could hear it happening, I recognized the song that the jabbawockeez used (Final Countdown remix). Sucked but Cédric kept on telling me it was fine. I guess it was.
Our costumes ended up great! Everyone commented on it. When Cédric got called up for GOLD for Meilleur Comédien, Max and I went up and garded the stairs! It was so cool apparently and when the lady came to the stairs, she nodded to use and I nodded back and we walked away! Was awesome!!!
Our school got a lot of prizes. Pré-Secondaire got a few too including Maxime getting silver for Meilleur Comédien! Runs in the family I guess. "Ton frère", our play, got many: Gold for french speaking and respectfull, Mension for "Message", Gold for "Meilleur Text" to which I participated ;-), Cédric got gold, Jean-Marc got 2nd in the same category, Alyena got 2nd for "Comédienne de soutien" (If she is "de soutien" I wasn't even close), Gold for "Prix du Publique" AND GOLD FOR "PRIX DES JUGES"!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE GOT THE TROPHY FOR THE 2ND YEAR IN A ROW! Not that we didn't know... lol Amazing! The 2nd year in a row!!!
After screaming like crazy, I was panicking cause I lost my ride but I got an other one. I was with the Smiths and we headed to go pick up Chloe at her recital of Opera, which I say yesterday and it was amazing! Because of her recital, she couldn't be at the Gala! MAN!!! I had a great conversation with Vaun about music programs and Playstation and all that stuff and Illusion! Anyways.. Émélie and I tried to hide it as well as we could and when she was the trophy we jumped/cried/yelled/squealed and smiled at the same time! She was so happy! lol She was out of it the rest of the night! We walked into Tim Hortons, where all the rest of the group is waiting for us and Chloe smokes the door entrance with the trophy, almost breaking it. Our whole school goes nuts as we enter making lots of nose in Tim Hortons! Good time in there, our tradition! I didn't eat much because I had to keep my weight down for Kenora Open. But I met all the Québec exchange students, plus I talked to Max and Alexis and Millène and the parents and everything! I got a ride back with the Morier-Roys (Rita, Cédric, Émélie and her partner, Audré). Got convos!
Unbelievable memories.. I hope I can join next year.
